It is rare to have to worry about leaving your keys in your vehicle or your checkbook on the dash…. Half the time you go to the little country store there is at least1 vehicle with the motor running and the doors unlocked. The people in my community accept that I am gay…. without any problems so far. I do not rub my sexuality in there face, nor do I hide it cowering behind the door. I moved to the country with the understanding I would have to learn to fit in, not with the expectation I would change it….
